An extra note, for all my fellow readers that feel guilt about giving up on book – DON’T. Some people might give this book 5 stars, while I couldn’t get through it. 
     I’m not even sure what it was about the book… the beginning didn’t pick up enough to make me want to keep reading. 

I made it about 30% of the way before giving up. At 30% I don’t count this as a book I am ‘allowed’ to add to my yearly total. Which I know for those of you that really care about your reading goal this hurts even more.
