What it comes down to is I get why the author directed this to men, but it’s a shame. There are some really good nuggets of advice in here but as a woman you have to be creative to decode. On the other hand, I get why he would skinny down and make a book he wanted, a book he felt well informed to create, directed to men, as a man.
I wish he would have put that this book was directed to men on the cover… I read ‘everyman’ in the title was every person. Hey – maybe it’s my mistake.
I will always say, as a wife reading this I felt very ‘seen’ in what I’ve noticed with my husband and kept wishing my husband would read/listen to the advice.
Again, seriously good advice. Some of the ‘steps’ could have been skipped or were useless or were filler. Overall though, excellent, real shit, real advice. I would recommend to my husband.
