My first and my last …
My first Sarah Crossan book. Reading other reviews it seems her unique writing style is normal for her. The spaced out story made a normal looking novel on the outside a very quick read and short story.
I didn’t really connect with the main character. Kinda hated her. I hated the jump back and forth between past and present without any warning.
It was too much of a brain warp. I wasn’t sure what I was reading, I wasn’t sure if I should care about the narrator.
Although I don’t mind that I read it because it was so quick – I could never recommend this to anyone.
