For anyone that loves love and multiple storylines – this one is for you.

Kristin Harmel, the New York Times bestselling author who “is the best there is at sweeping historical drama” (Kelly Harms, author of The Seven Day Switch), returns with a captivating new novel about several intertwined stories of love, loss, courage, and redemption set over the course of one magical week in Paris. (Goodreads blurb)
In the authors note at the end the author mentions how she wanted to re-create a story set in Paris that is like the movie, Love, Actually. I would say she was extremely successful because that is all I could think about while reading this book.
I thought every storyline was very heartwarming. They all don’t end in a happy ending (is this a spoiler? I dont think so), which I appreciate the realism. Makes you feel more invested to each storyline. How each character directly or indirectly interacted with one another was perfection. It didn’t feel forced.
You could feel the author was actually in Paris while writing the book due to how descriptive the scenes were.
My only note would be that I could see the multiple storylines being one too many for a lot of readers. I would have cut down one or two.
Overall, I think it’s a wonderful story. A wonderful, love story, wonderful heartbreak and wonderful adventure. I would recommend this to my reader friends.
