I read this as an audio book and spoiler alert, it was EXCELLENT. Happy Wednesday all!

This book is about a child that has gone missing.
Jar of Hearts is on my TBR list, but instead I stumbled upon Hillier’s newest novel Little Secrets. I read this through my ears via an audiobook. It can takes me months sometimes to finish an audiobook, but Little Secrets kept my attention.
I agree with a few other reviewers that it is best to go in to this book blind. Don’t read up too much on what’s going on. Trust those who read before you, that you will be thrilled.
Reflecting now, this plot is so simple. You’ve probably watched this show before, seen the movie … but the way Hillier weaves this story … it will be like the first time.
I guessed what was going on, but that’s okay as I wouldn’t classify this as a who-dun-it. This is pure thrill seeking. It was enjoyable to be confused, lost and unsure how all these storylines were weaving together. The opening alone pulled me right into the storyline. It was layered, odd and all the curious buttons were being pushed.
I was disgusted along with the characters, annoyed, felt pity … I understood motives, even if I didn’t agree with them. The POVs were beautifully written. Each character distinct and well thought out.
Hillier is a master. (Reminds me, really got to get on top of her other books…)
Like I said above, I never finish audiobooks this quickly. I listen to audiobooks so spastically that I lose the storyline when I finally pick up the audiobook again … Yet, I wanted to listen, wanted to know what was happening. I would recommend this thriller.
