#2 in the series and I’m already hooked.
This the second book in the Hercule Poirot series. The first book Christie tricked me on the reveal but this time I figured it out before she could tell me. She tried to lead me astray (and she probably was successful if I’m being honest) but in the end my first guess was correct.
**POSSIBLE SPOILER** It seems that this is the last we’ll see of Hastings. Which I don’t mind because he was kind of a stupid character. The fact that Hastings respected Porit so much but questioned him so much more always bothered me.
I’m anxiously waiting for the next book in the series to become available so I can see who Poirot’s next side kick is, if he’ll even have one this time.
