This has to be the top best, five, ten books I have ever read.

It is a great mix of a great story, great characters, thrill, suspense, mystery IT JUST HAS IT ALL. I can’t believe it took my so long to read this! I’m upset with myself for not letting me get the chance to experience this wonderful story sooner in life.

This story jumps around in time, but in a way that isn’t dizzying.

The writing is superb.

I felt the urge to pick up a pen and underline some of my favorite lines. (Which I did.) I felt the urge to re-type some of the words in my journal, in my ‘notes’ in my phone. (Which I did.) I felt the urge of taking pictures of pages. (Which I did.)

It’s just such a well, well done story. And if you thought you couldn’t like the story (and the characters) any more than you already do, you read the author’s note at the end and you realize that VE Schwab is also obviously a very special human as well.
