Can we have a moment of silence for this book?
That’s what I needed. I read the last line, closed the cover and closed my eyes. I took a breath. Really taking in everything I just read.
This book is pure magic. The story line was very interesting. The characters lovable (and not) and everything came full circle. I love it when books do that. When all the little pieces tie together in a perfect bow at the end. It leaves the reader feeling so satisfied.
I loved learning about the history of Spain. I learned along with Daniel about Franco and what kind of ruler he was.
The quotes throughout the book were wonderful and well picked.
Overall, this was an absolutely wonderful book.
