A feel good book that you can read on rainy days.
I’m not sure what it was about Ailsa Rae that pulled me in so much. Maybe the fact that she was just a normal, flawed person just trying to make it through being super sick and finally getting a heart transplant? (Don’t worry, she gets the heart in the way beginning of the book, so I’m not spoiling anything)
The book is littered with fun styles of writing in the past, future, emails, blogs and articles. I found that fun and I loved the way reading a blog/article effected Ailsa’s life in a real way.
This is a great book if you just want to feel good. If you’ve read possibly a bit too much unrealistic books and need something in the “now” that isn’t full of all the annoying parts of the 2018/2019 years. You know, social media and etc. This book is like diving back in time when blog posts were what people lived for. I’m actually having a hard time finding the right words to express how I feel about spending time with Ailsa.
I’d would just like to leave this review with, you should go out… pick up the book… and read it.
