MAGIC LESSONS (PRACTICAL MAGIC, #0.1) BY: ALICE HOFFMAN

,

Rating: 5 out of 5.

I’m sorry it took me so long to write a review on this one because it really was so so good.

Sometimes there are books that you finish reading and just whip out a review, easy peasy. This one felt different. It stuck with me. I couldn’t dive right into another book easily. I had to grieve that it was over (but I do hear that this is actually a prequel to a larger, already existing series) and let Hoffman’s words settle with me a bit.

I think the characters were excellent.
The story line was excellent.

I felt taken on a long ride that was equally parts thrilling and relaxing.

Alice Hoffman has a way with words and this was a wonderful book to be introduced to her writing. I doubt it will be my last.
