A modern Agatha Christie?

This was a fun read. I plowed through it. The characters were fun. The story alone was a great ‘who dun it’ – a classic Christie novel. I really enjoyed the nod to Christie that Wegert snuck in the story as well.

Wegert is trying to build a series, so throughout the story you get glimpses of the detective’s back story, Shana Merchant. This was also very well done. It was interesting. Kept me intrigued. I definitely am curious about the rest of the series after seeing what Wegert did with this first story.
