Such a fun story you’ll be googling “Daisy Jones & The Six” multiple times while reading.
I must admit I knowingly purchased this book knowing it was fiction. After the first few pages I googled the band. Okay – it’s fiction. I confirmed this.
Handful more pages I thought, maybe I missed something. Maybe I didn’t google the right words. The description of Daisy is so intoxicating that you want to see an image. You WANT to see the album cover that took the band to the next level.
I will admit the story felt slow and the ride wasn’t as thrilling as I wished. The twist was alright and I finished the book feeling content. Content, but not excited and pumped. All this doesn’t mean that Taylor Jenkins Reid deserves any less than 5 stars.
Reid has impressed me in the past with her books and this one was no different. The format alone was amazing. The WAY she told the story, amazing. The characters, amazing. The characters that were not in the story, amazing.
Pick this book up and check it out for yourself.
