For some reason, I thought I would hate this one … but then I loved it!

Not sure why I went into this book with a negative attitude. Maybe because it was my first book read via a kindle and it was free …. but I was so happy and surprised!

The characters were enjoyable. The past vs present transitioned well without bumps. There was a little mystery while reading as you didn’t exactly know what happened to some of the characters past but also you didn’t know if the fate of the sisters in the present. The two sisters are so different, but the author was able to keep their voices unique and true to who they were.

Just so, so interesting.

It also probably helped that I have a secret love affair with surfing so I was extra intrigued.
