This book surprised me! I became quickly obsessed with all the characters and found the story addicting. There was nothing really ‘special’ about this book. Nothing ground breaking that you thought, WOW I never would have thought of that. You will definitely not say, ‘Wow, I didn’t see that coming.’ (ha) This book is very clear cut when it comes to plot. You know what will happen, before it happens pretty easily. Yet, it’s still really special. 

The character building is amazing. The way the author switches from character to character, unique and fun. I quickly grew invested in all the characters and that is what makes the story special. 

A few negatives, as what sometimes happen when authors switch perspective to different characters you get a storyline repeat. That happened here. When the mother gave Sunday advice on her situation … it was repeated 2 times by talking and then we had to relive/reread the entire interaction. There was nothing gained by having it repeated the second time and annoyed the heck out of me when I had to read it more spread out through a memory the third time. 

    Overall though, DANG. Good book. Easy reading. Amazing characters. Good enough plot line. I would recommend.
