I am in FULL agreement with all other reviews that you should not read the last 3 pages of the book.
Yet, that does not stop me from giving the book a full 5 stars. I really enjoyed this story. I thought it WAS overly complex but it kept me confused enough to not see what was really going on. It’s a classic Christie novel of the big reveal has you going back in the story to see the clues that Poirot points out so obviously in his big reveal.
Like I said, I DO agree that the last 3 pages were ridiculous. I wish I didn’t read them… They feel like a weird afterthough as well. Totally unnecessary and totally against who I thought Lynn was throughout the book. I wonder if there is some conspiracy theory there that we will never know. If Christie was told to add it to save face for Rowley… or … what.
I will not let the last 3 pages ruin the full book for me though, so I still stand by my 5 stars.
