THE BOBBY GOLD STORIES BY: ANTHONY BOURDAIN

Rating: 4 out of 5.

First let me start off by saying, this book isn’t anything special…. but it is. It is because it’s Anthony Bourdain. He’s special. He was special before he died and he’s extra special now. So right away, WOW. It feels you get a little insight to his brain, what he was thinking creatively and that alone is pretty sweet.

This book is short, mini stories. They aren’t original. They aren’t that exciting … but they are.
Don’t read this book if you are looking for a literary ride. Read this book because you are a fan of Bourdain.
I’ve read a few other Bourdain books and he has talent. Crazy talent if you think about all the other things he was doing, had done, in his life.
This is a 3 star book – but I have to bump it to 4 because of who wrote it.
