Invested enough where I had to finish it …

I struggled on how to review this book. At the end, I felt like I enjoyed it. While reading, I felt like I didn’t like it. I kept reading, sometimes you get just enough invested where you can’t put the book down without knowing what happens, this was me.

I can’t put my finger on what bothered me. I wasn’t a fan of the main character. She bothered me and her personality didn’t seem realistic. The dog didn’t pull at my heart strings enough. And finally, I pictured the ‘big wig’ this grumpy old man … and then finding out him and her were a thing? I couldn’t get out of my head some young, pretty badass with this gross, career politician grandpa.

Just …. weird.
If you like action driven book, give it a try and make up your mind for yourself!
