A story I bet you can’t guess the ending to. 

I struggled on what star rating to give this book. Sometimes the writing annoyed me and I felt that there were unnecessary parts that were meant to lead be astray, which they did, but they also didn’t add to the story at all. I don’t like it when authors try to trick you just for the point of tricking you. If I were to leave it at these thoughts alone, I would give it 3 stars. 

In the end, it was a well plotted out story. I enjoyed the back and forth, going between the past and the present and how both story lines all came together in the end and made sense. 

I thought it was a very clever story line and I ended up really enjoying the characters (although I don’t believe you have to like the characters to have a good book). 

The wonderful plot is what made me give it 4 stars. Well done Black… you got me :)!
