Solid 4.5 stars …

What a journey. Great book. It was a slow burn with a nice pay off in the end. I thought the character development was well done. The twists the author takes you on are realistic.

It was a slow start and sometimes the lawyer-talk was a bit exhausting, but that might be my personal opinion because I enjoy interactions outside of the courtroom more. A lot of characters to get to know and care about, but the author did a good job of not making them too complex where you got lost.

Overall – wonderful book.
