EVERYTHING, EVERYTHING BY NICOLA YOON

Rating: 4 out of 5.

This was a cute story – felt short and read through the book quickly. I feel like I’ve read a version of this story a few different times, a few different ways, so when it comes to the plot… it didnt feel special. It was very predictable.
The story itself is 3 stars. It’s ‘too’ short. The author could have built it up the story more. Built up the characters more. It’s a good enough idea that there could be way more going on. Which, once could say, is really a compliment more than a criticism as I want MORE. (ha)

I changed from 3 stars to 4 stars as I loved the pictures, drawings and illustrations. They were done so well and each page with an illustrations I always stopped to enjoy every detail – even simple drawings of the email screen felt special.
Overall, cute story – I just wanted more.
