THE WOMAN IN CABIN 10 BY RUTTH WARE

,

Rating: 3 out of 5.

We read this book on our roadtrip. Overall it was a good book. It was an interesting plot line and with all the negatives the book pushed on and I still found myself curious what would happen to our main character.
I enjoyed the creative ‘extras’ at the end of each section of the book. They had newspaper clippings, facebook conversation, emails that kept me interested and excited for the next section.

The negatives? I hated the main character. Specifically I hated reading her inner thoughts. I thought she was super whiney and a wreak. Maybe that is what I was supposed to think and if so, the author over killed it. I found myself skimming or even skipping the inner thoughts so I could get on with the story.
So I’m leaving myself in the middle of my stars, but leaning towards the worse end. I’m leaning that way because I would never pick up this book to read it again and I would never recommend this if someone wanted a good thriller to read. BUT if you happen to have it, if you are just really bored and need a time killer.. pick up this book. The plot will keep you reading and you’ll sit and ponder the world and what you just read when you are done.
Enjoy!
XOXO
