THE UNRAVELING OF CASSIDY HOLMES BY: ELISSA R. SLOAN

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Don’t hate me …

I know I’m going to get a lot of push back on this … but this book just wasn’t that good …

Overall the story of trying to expose what the media and powers that be are doing to innocent people going in to the industry? Totally overshadowed by the greed from one of the character’s Rose. I wanted more on the other scum … Grant, Stephen, Peter, and the horrid director.

The writing was so-so.
The plot felt everywhere.

In the end, I couldn’t put the book down. I had a love-hate relationship with it. Sometimes I finish books just to say, ‘Yeah it was bad but I finished it so you can’t tell me my opinion doesn’t count because I didn’t read it all’ … but this one .. I did genuinely want to read it. When I stepped away from it, I wanted to go back to read it and find out what my ‘girls’ were up to. So take that confusing advice with a grain of salt.
