THE BODY IN THE LIBRARY BY AGATHA CHRISTIE

,

Rating: 3 out of 5.

As a huge fan of Christie, I found I am not a huge fan of Miss Marple. I love Poirot but found Marple missing the magic that Poirot does. Marple wasn’t even in the story as much as I thought she should have been. Then she comes in and saves the day but I found myself even forgetting she was a character sometimes.
This was not my favorite of Christie’s stories. The overall story didn’t impress me at all. I didn’t care for the mystery, found it easy to solve. I didn’t care for the characters.
If this is the only review that you read of mine, please don’t avoid the Queen of Mystery based on my comments. Please don’t avoid Marple stories because of my words. I plan on picking up a few more Marples before I write her off for good.
